I’m Kate Higgins, I’m a life coach and a happy wife and mom of three. I was a stay-home mom for almost 20 years and, even though I had a busy and full life (volunteering at my kids’ schools, keeping up with their activities and friends, staying fit, more volunteer work…), I was always trying to find the thing that would make me feel more confident and less at the mercy of others and what they thought of me. It wasn’t until I discovered coaching that I found a better way.
Coaching showed me how to become more of who I want to be. More loving, forgiving, patient, and less judgmental of myself and others. It also taught me that I didn’t need to become any of those things in order to be confident or ‘good-enough’.
Confidence doesn’t come from anything outside of you. It doesn’t come from what anyone else thinks of you or how many people like you. It doesn’t come from how you act, what you accomplish, or anything you do. Only you can create a sense of calm in your life, stop doubting yourself, and stop living at the effect of other people and what they think of you.
I love working with women who want to strengthen their relationships with others and with themselves, become more confident, feel more empowered, and focus on what they truly want. Most of us stop asking ourselves what we want once we’re out of school, and especially after we’re married with kids.
I want you to know that you can be whoever you want, and you can absolutely create the life you want, but first you need to identify who and what that is.
If you’re feeling stuck in self-doubt, wanting more confidence, direction, purpose and fulfillment in your life, I’ve been there and I can help you find the way. Life coaching changed my life, and I know that it can change your life too.
